In response to the upcoming budget debate and the resulting impact on new farm legislation, the NCC Board of Directors has adopted an NCC farm policy statement.
 
FMCSA: No Intention to Propose New Agricultural Regulations 08/10/2011
The US Department of Transportation's Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) announced that it has no intention to propose new regulations governing the transport of agricultural products. The NCC recently submitted comments to the FMCSA expressing its concerns with the agency’s interpretations and some of its proposed guidances.

The four were honored at the '11 Beltwide Cotton Conferences, held Jan. 4-7 at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta.
 
Sukumar Saha Receives 2010 Cotton Genetics Award 01/07/2011
