Cotton producers from the U.S. Cotton Belt’s West and Southwest regions are visiting cotton and agriculture related operations in North Carolina this week as part of the National Cotton Council’s Producer Information Exchange, also known as the P.I.E. tour. Since the program’s launch in 1989, more than 1,200 U.S. cotton producers have participated in the tours.
Layton Schniers, a cotton producer from Wall, Texas shares how the program is helping U.S. cotton producers by observing diverse farming operations.
