In its latest adjustment to the world balance sheet, USDA reduced cotton production by almost 830,000 bales due to lower production in the U.S. and Brazil. Dr. Jody Campiche, Vice President of Economics and Policy Analysis for the National Cotton Council, shares some of the factors that affected the department’s projections.
