The latest USDA estimate shows world cotton mill use reaching a record level in 2018 and 2019. Global consumption is projected at 127 million bales for the 2018 crop year. Mill use is expected to increase in all major cotton consuming countries including China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Vietnam. Dr. Jody Campiche, Vice President of Economics and Policy Analysis for the National Cotton Council, joins us to talk about the factors that lead to this record number.
