A Brazilian cotton delegation has caused quite a stir on its recent visit to Washington. The delegation misrepresented the carefully negotiated agreement between U.S. and Brazilian cotton grower organizations and wrongly portrayed the reformed cotton provisions in the farm legislation currently being considered by Congress according to Gary Adams, Vice President of Economics and Policy Analysis for the National Cotton Council.
