The dispute between LightSquared Inc. and global positioning system device manufacturers recently shifted back to Congress. Bill Norman, Vice President of Technical Services for the National Cotton Council, says several House Armed Services Committee members criticized the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) for "advocating" for LightSquared at the expense of critical GPS operations.
