Yesterday, Representatives Travis Childers of Mississippi and Marion Berry of Arkansas introduced legislation to provide emergency disaster assistance to the Mid-South, Southwest and neighboring states due to mounting financial losses due to the devastating weather conditions.

Yesterday, Representatives Travis Childers of Mississippi and Marion Berry of Arkansas introduced legislation to provide emergency disaster assistance to the Mid-South, Southwest and neighboring states due to mounting financial losses due to the devastating weather conditions.  Robbie Minnich, senior government relations representative for the National Cotton Council says this legislation closely mirrors that introduced by Senators Cochran and Wicker of Mississippi and Lincoln of Arkansas last week.
