Last week USDA announced the release of the regulations necessary to implement the new farm law’s cotton program provisions. Robbie Minnich, Senior Government Relations Representative for the National Cotton Council says on October 31 the calculation of the adjusted world price or A.W.P. was changed to maximize the competitiveness of US Cotton in both domestic and international markets.
