The Pink Bollworm Program in the United States now encompasses Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. According to Dr. Robert Staten, a retired entomologist for USDA who still works with the program, the United States has been working cooperatively with Mexico whose program encompasses the state of Chihuahua and has suppression activity started in Northern Sonora.
