As energy prices continue to increase, biofuels are moving to the forefront as an alternative source. Biodiesel is one of the alternatives that is growing very rapidly. According to Pete Moss, President of Frazier, Barnes and Associates consulting, the average plant, in 1999, produced one million gallons a year.

Ethanol is another energy source that is growing at a rapid pace.
