The 2007 Farm Bill is being debated in the House Agricultural Committee this week. Craig Brown, Vice-President of Producers Affairs for the National Cotton Council is in Washington for the debate.
Brown says the “Kind Amendment” would dramatically slash farm programs and seriously harm cotton and other commodities.
Brown says the Council is asking all of their members to call their member of Congress and urge them to vote against the “Kind Amendment.”
