The 2007 Cotton Leadership Class is in Washington D.C. this week learning about the legislative process, policy development and implementation. Eric Wanjura, Plant Manager for Farmers Co-op Compress in Plainview, Texas is a member of the class and is looking forward to meeting the players involved in reauthorizing the Farm Bill.
As the legislative process continues for the Farm Bill it’s important to have an industry consensus. Wanjura says participating in the Cotton Leadership Class has provided him up-to-date information on current industry issues.
