The National Cotton Council’s Cotton Leadership Program seeks to identify potential industry leaders and provide them developmental training so they can represent the industry at the local, regional and state level. John Gibson, Director of Member Services for the National Cotton Council says they are currently seeking applicants for the 2007-2008 Cotton Leadership Class.

According to Gibson this will be the twenty-fifth class and anyone interested in participating has a month left to submit their application.

In the last 24 years there have been over 230 graduates of the Cotton Leadership Program. Gibson says during five sessions of activities across the Cotton Belt, participants visit with industry leaders and observe production, processing and research.
