This week the House Agricultural Subcommittee on conservation, credit, energy and research approved its draft proposals for several farm bill titles that were under their jurisdiction.

This week the House Agricultural Subcommittee on conservation, credit, energy and research approved its draft proposals for several farm bill titles that were under their jurisdiction.  According to Robbie Minnich this week’s markups kicks off the farm bill reauthorization on the House side of Congress.

According to Minnich the draft for the Conservation Title is very similar to the 2002 Farm Bill.

Minnich says some notable changes to other programs were in the environmental quality incentives program.
