The Arkansas Scheduler program was developed by the University of Arkansas in the early 1980’s to help producers with irrigation timing.   According to Dr. Joe Henggeler, Irrigation Specialist for the University of Missouri, it’s probably the most used irrigation system in the Mid-South.

According to Henggeler this program only looks at inches of water but has had great results.

Henggeler says the Arkansas Scheduler can be used with most irrigation systems and it can be used with corn, cotton, several different soybean maturity groups and sorghum.
