As the U.S. cotton industry is trying to find its place in the world market it needs to meet the competition head on.

As the U.S. cotton industry is trying to find its place in the world market it needs to meet the competition head on. Dr Andy Jordan, a consultant for the National Cotton Council, says the only way the industry can do that is to be innovative and continue the vision of past leaders.

According to Jordan the U.S. cotton industry needs to continue to conduct research to improve fiber characteristics.

Jordan is convinced that U.S. cotton will maintain its market share if it meets the challenges of continuing research.
