Robbie Minnich, senior government relations representative with the National Cotton Council, provides an outlook for 2023 and what is ahead for Congress. He shares that as the agriculture industry and lawmakers prepare to write the new Farm Bill, that more than 200 of the 435 members of the House of Representatives were not in office for the prior bill. Additionally, a quarter of the Senate was not in office for the prior Farm Bill. He further notes that the goal of the National Cotton Council is to work with industry leaders and lawmakers to pass a Farm Bill in 2023.
