Portions of the federal government that were shut down were able to reopen this week. A short-term funding measure that was agreed upon, will provide funding through February 15th – that includes funding for the Department of Agriculture, EPA, the Food and Drug Administration, and several other agencies and departments that had been closed. Reece Langley, Vice President of Washington Operations for the National Cotton Council, joins us to talk about how this affects cotton producers across the cotton belt.
