Congress resolved the government shutdown this week by passing a three-week continuing resolution.

Congress resolved the government shutdown this week by passing a three-week continuing resolution. However, there are pending measures Congress must address by February 8th to avoid another shutdown. The measures include a full-year funding bill for the remainder of this fiscal year as well as a supplemental disaster bill that is pending in the Senate. This bill includes a provision that could impact cotton producers. Reece Langley, Vice President of Washington Operations for the National Cotton Council, joins us with this and other updates from the week in Washington.
