A lot of research has been conducted to demonstrate effective weed management in a proactive way.

This week’s Cotton Newsline is the second part of the two-art series and is 5 cuts.  All cuts are either Dr. David Shaw, Chair of the Task Force on Herbicide Resistance Education or Dr. Stephen Powell, Professor at the University of Western Australia.

Dr. Stephen Powles, Professor at the University of Western Australia, says Australian farmers have been dealing with weed resistance for a number of years.

Dr. Shaw says the Weed Science Society of America, along with many other organizations, is working to develop herbicide resistant education programs.
