Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced that the next general signup for the Conservation Reserve Program, or CRP, will begin on March 14, 2011 and continue through April 15, 2011. Robbie Minnich, Senior Government Relations Representative for the National Cotton Council, says this is the second consecutive year that USDA has offered a general CRP signup.
