Harvest delays are significant, and in some instances unprecedented, across all of the Mid-South and selected states in the Southeast.

This week’s Cotton Newsline is 3 cuts.  All cuts are Jay Hardwick, chairman for the National Cotton Council and Louisiana cotton producer.

Harvest delays are significant, and in some instances unprecedented, across all of the Mid-South and selected states in the Southeast.  As part one of a series concerning producers' crop conditions, we will hear from the Chairman of the National Cotton Council and Louisiana Cotton Producer, Jay Hardwick.  Hardwick says what they are experiencing is very discouraging for many producers in Louisiana because they are experiencing a second consecutive year of what they thought was a hundred year event.
