The 2007 Cotton Leadership Class is headed to Washington D.C. next week to learn about policy development and implementation. This session will be their last activity before graduation in August. Rick Stone, Manager of Cargill Cotton in Lubbock, Texas says he has gained valuable industry knowledge by participating in the program.

Suggested introduction cut 2:
The main purpose of the leadership program is to ensure that future industry leaders have adequate knowledge of all facets of the industry as well as an understanding of the National Cotton Council. Stone says he has learned skills that will make him a better leader for the industry.
