The lack of rain in the cotton belt is starting to take its toll on the crop. According to Dr. Gary Adams, Vice-President of Economics and Policy Analysis for the National Cotton Council, the latest crop condition report from the USDA shows thirty-two percent of the U.S. cotton crop in the poor to very poor category.
