build awareness among U.S. cotton producers of the growing economic impact of
cotton nematodes and to provide information on identification of species;
distribution and densities of populations; and control measures including
cultural and chemical practices..

Committee:The Beltwide Cotton Nematode Research and Education
Committee is comprised of Extension and Research Specialists from LandGrantUniversities across the
cotton belt.The committee meets on an
annual basis to report research findings and identify new priority needs for
future cooperative projects.Annual
meetings allow exchange of research findings in order to provide the latest
research information to growers and consultants in all cotton states.
