According to the Department of Agriculture, world cotton production is projected to be just over 121 million bales for the 2019-2020 crop year. This total is 3 million bales higher than last year, according to Dr. Jody Campiche, the National Cotton Council’s Vice President of Economics and Policy Analysis. Dr. Campiche joins us to talk about some of the adjustments in the report and what consumption is looking like for cotton across the globe.
