On a visit to Tennessee to announce a $2.8 million-dollar investment in high-speed broadband infrastructure, the Secretary of Agriculture, Sonny Perdue, made a stop at Agricenter International in Memphis to visit with the west Tennessee agriculture community. Secretary Perdue discussed a number of issues with the group, and he also talked about the ongoing trade dispute with China and how it impacts Mid-South cotton farmers.
