Nick McMichen, a fifth-generation cotton producer from Centre, Alabama, had the opportunity to testify in front of the Senate Agriculture Committee this week. The hearing was designed to help committee members gain a better understanding of what is working and what needs to be changed before they begin writing the next Farm Bill. We caught up with McMichen after he delivered his testimony, and here’s what he had to say regarding cotton’s inclusion in the next Farm Bill.
