According to the latest report released by the International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-Biotech Applications, the global planting of biotech crops continues to grow annually. In 2013, a record 433 million acres of biotech crops were grown globally, at an annual growth rate of 3%, making biotech crops the fastest adopted crop technology in recent history. Keith Menchey, Manager of Environmental and Science Issues for the National Cotton Council joins us today to explain the growing use of biotech crops.
