In its November crop report, the USDA projects a 2012-2013 US cotton crop of 17.45 million bales, up 160,000 bales from their October report.

In its November crop report, the USDA projects a 2012-2013 US cotton crop of 17.45 million bales, up 160,000 bales from their October report. Upland production was estimated at 16.79 million bales and extra-long staple production at 657,000 bales. Shawn Boyd, Agricultural Economist for the National Cotton Council explains the changes.
