A conservation plan is where a farmer works with their local conservation services official, or a qualified professional recognized by National Resource Conservation Services, or NRCS, to find out what resource issues are affecting their farm.

A conservation plan is where a farmer works with their local conservation services official, or a qualified professional recognized by National Resource Conservation Services, or NRCS, to find out what resource issues are affecting their farm.  Thomas Hebert, Senior Vice President of Government Relations for Ogilvy, recommends that farmers get an NRCS-approved conservation plan.
