After cotton has been harvested it is usually formed into a module and covered with a tarp until it can be transported to the gin.  Dr. Steve Searcy, Professor of Biological and Agricultural Engineering at Texas A&M University, has been studying the economic impact poor tarps and poorly built modules can have to a producer’s bottom line.
