As the 2007 cotton crop moves from the field to market, U.S. producers are going to rely heavily on export markets. According to Dr. Gary Adams, Vice-President of Economics and Policy Analysis for the National Cotton Council, one of the biggest issues for 2007 was the reduction of U.S. cotton acreage.
