New mandatory weekly reporting of the warehouse’s cotton flow started in January. All warehouses are required to complete the weekly cotton flow report through an electronic reporting system. Dale Thompson, Manager of Marketing and Processing Technology for the National Cotton Council gives an update on how that system is working. Thompson says the software providers have helped streamline the process. According to Thompson, the Council provides a summary, on their website, of warehouses that have strikes against them. |
