The National Cotton Council has announced the Secretary of Agriculture Mike Johanns as the keynote speaker for the 2007 Beltwide Cotton Conferences according to Dale Thompson Conference Coordinator.
With 2007 being the year the farm bill will be debated, Thompson expects Johanns will give some incite as to what direction the administration will be pressing for new farm legislation.
