The National Cotton Council joined together with other national agriculture organizations in cosigning a letter to Senate Majority Leader Reid and Senate Republican Leader McConnell regarding the possible reinstatement of the estate tax in 2011.

The National Cotton Council joined together with other national agriculture organizations in cosigning a letter to Senate Majority Leader Reid and Senate Republican Leader McConnell regarding the possible reinstatement of the estate tax in 2011.  Robbie Minnich, senior government relations representative for the National Cotton Council, points out that many family farmers, ranchers and growers which provide food and fiber for our nation as well as around the globe have shared personal stories over the years about how their farms and livelihoods have been jeopardized by estate taxes.
