This week’s Cotton Newsline is 7 cuts. Cuts are NCC Chairman Eddie Smith and Manager of Science & Environmental Issues, Keith Menchey.

The chairmen of six major commodity organizations – cotton, corn, soybeans, wheat, grain sorghum and rice – were called to Washington today to meet with Agricultural Secretary Tom Vilsak and EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson. NCC Chairman Eddie Smith and Council staff Keith Menchey attended the meeting.

NCC Manager of Science and Environmental Issues, Keith Menchey said that it was an open meeting and that several topics were discussed.
