Joe Steiner, a vice president for the American Soybean Association, had the opportunity to travel to Lubbock, TX to participate in the Multi Commodities Exchange Program or MCEP tour.  Steiner says he got to see all seven aspects of the cotton industry.

Steiner says the MCEP program aids in teaching producers from all segments of the agriculture industry about the issues and concerns faced by their peers and he believes this will allow all segments to pull together when needed in passing legislation in congress.
