As the list of weeds that are showing resistance to herbicides continues to grow, researchers are looking for better options to control weeds.

This week’s Cotton Newsline is 3 cuts.  All cuts are Chad Smith, Research Specialist at the University of Missouri Delta Center in Portageville, Missouri.

As the list of weeds that are showing resistance to herbicides continues to grow, researchers are looking for better options to control weeds.  According to Chad Smith, Research Specialist at the University of Missouri Delta Center, several companies are focusing on tweaking existing products to get better control.

Suggested introduction cut 2:
Smith says another product has had its label revised to expand its use.

Suggested introduction cut 3:
Envoke is another product with a revised label.  Smith says in their trials it is showing a lot of promise as a fall applied herbicide to control glyphosate resistant horseweed.
