The U.S. cotton industry sent a ten member delegation to China as part of the China Leadership Exchange Program established by the National Cotton Council along with the China Cotton Association.

The U.S. cotton industry sent a ten member delegation to China as part of the China Leadership Exchange Program established by the National Cotton Council along with the China Cotton Association.  Fred Johnson, Vice President of Program Coordination accompanied the delegation and says this was the first time the Council has sent a high-level industry delegation for a China/US cross country exchange.

Suggested introduction cut 2:

Johnson says the purpose of the exchange was to familiarize the delegation with the market demands and views of a very important customer for U.S Raw cotton – China.
