The 2007 Beltwide Cotton Conferences will be held January 9 through the 12 in New Orleans. Dale Thompson, Conference Coordinator says part of the conference will have a focus on sustainability since it is a concern for production agriculture and certainly for the cotton industry.

According to Thompson one of the highlights of the production conference has always been the innovative grower panel.

Thompson says additional conference topics will include precision agriculture, a hands-on cotton disease workshop as well as other production management topics.
