The Cotton Research and Promotion Program, which most producers term the check-off program, provides a very integral service to the U.S. cotton industry in that it promotes the off take of cotton both domestically and world wide.

This week’s Cotton Newsline is 2 cuts.  All cuts are Craig Brown, Vice-President of Producer Affairs for the National Cotton Council.

According to Craig Brown, Vice President of Producer Affairs for the National Cotton Council, this program is up for its third review.

Suggested introduction cut 2:

Brown says the National Cotton Council will be submitting comments to Secretary Johanns recommending that a referendum not be conducted for the continuation of this amendment of the uniform assessment.
