The House adopted its Budget Reconciliation Conference Report on December 19 by only six votes. According to Robbie Minnich, Senior Government Relations Representative for the National Cotton Council, the Senate then made changes to the conference report.

Suggested introduction cut 2:

The total amount of spending cut from Agriculture was just over 2.7 billion dollars over fiscal years 2006 to 2010. Minnich explains which agriculture programs were affected.

Suggested introduction cut 3:

Minnich says the House could make more changes to the budget reconciliation conference report.
