USDA and USTR have worked together to develop a program to help improve the rural living conditions and production practices that are going on within the West African cotton producing countries.

This week’s Cotton Newsline is 3 cuts.  All cuts are Dr. Gary Adams, Vice-President of Economics and Policy Analysis for the National Cotton Council.

According to Dr Gary Adams, Vice-President of economics and policy analysis for the National Cotton Council there are several areas the program will focus on.

According to Adams the National Cotton Council realizes the importance of the development initiative within the WTO and felt there were some things they could contribute to help improve the rural life in West Africa.
