Tarnished plant bugs are not a new pest to cotton producers. But with the bollweevil close to eradication and the introduction of B.t. technology, Dr Scott Stewart, Cotton Integrated Pest Management Specialist for the University of Tennessee says the status of this pest has been elevated over the last ten years.
