Beginning in 2007, on a voluntary basis, all approved manufacturers of bale packaging materials and importers of burlap will have to provide a Certificate of Analysis to users of their packaging products when requested. According to Lee Tiller, Chairman of the Joint Cotton Industry Bale Packaging Committee, beginning in 2008, a complete and accurate Certificate of Analysis must be made available to the packaging material user for each pallet, bundle or other applicable unit.
