Spikes are colored based on groups: Group 1 (blue color; <em>G. barbadense</em> accessions), Group 2 (red color; Southwestern cotton), Group 3 (green color; Mexican cotton), Group 4 (purple color; Western cotton), and Group 5 (yellow color; Mid-South and Southeastern cotton), and Group 6 (light blue; Guatemalan cotton).
