Issue 2 Table of Contents

Understanding the relationship between planting date and plant population is extremely important when determining if a replant is warranted. Field experiments were conducted in Tennessee, Mississippi and Missouri from 2016-2018. A response surface model of yield potential predicted by planting date and plant population was generated from this data. The generated response curve will assist with replant decisions by providing estimates of the current stand relative to the yield potential of a successful or unsuccessful replant.
