Annual Report of the <em>Journal of Cotton Science</em>

To date (December 29), 81 manuscripts representing all nine disciplines have been submitted in 2006. A summary of the action taken on these manuscripts by discipline is provided in Table 1.

In 2006, 35 manuscripts were published in the Journal of Cotton Science. Distribution of published manuscripts by discipline is as follows: Agronomy and Soils – 7; Arthropod Management – 5; Breeding and Genetics – 7; Economics and Marketing – 2; Engineering and Ginning – 8; Molecular Biology and Physiology – 1; Plant Pathology and Nematology – 0; Textile Technology – 1; and Weed Science – 4.

There were 71 and 74 manuscript submissions in 2004 and 2005, respectively. A summary of the disposition of all manuscripts submitted in 2004 and 2005 is provided in Tables 2 and 3. Acceptance rates for each year and combined years are provided in Table 4.
