A new technique of extracting fiber distribution data from a Zellweger Uster High Volume Instrument (HVI) Fibrogram has been developed. Comparisons are made of short fiber content (SFC) measurements for selected Staple Standards using this method, the AFIS Length and Diameter (L&D) Information Module, and the Suter-Webb Array (SWA) method.
